It was fun blending the oils to get the correct balance, and anyone who's tried Fresh Man always comes back for more. I think it's harder for men to try new things, especially if they're used to designer brands, but the public are now much more aware and want to find natural substitutes." Unlike most commercial spray deodorants which are spirit based, Fresh Man is based on the soothing and healing qualities of witch hazel and skin softening vegetable glycerine. This helps avoid irritation to those tender areas such as under the arms and should also help deal with soreness caused by excessive sweating and chafing of the skin. Seven essential oils are used to give a balanced blend which takes advantage of the individual therapeutic qualities of the oils. Clove, lavender and lemon, for example, all have anti-bacterial properties, while thyme and cypress are deodorisers, and grapefruit cools the body. With a light tang of lemon and a herby but discreet feel, Fresh Man can be worn at work or play and will give natural protection for several hours. The deodorising qualities of rosemary, thyme and cypress essential oils are given a feeling of freshness by grapefruit and lemon, and a touch of spice from a small amount of clove bud. The overall impression is rounded by lavender, producing a deodorant that will be pleasing but not overpowering. Fresh Man will make the wearer feel cool and refreshed and will give long protection against body odour. (Supplied in a 100ml blue glass atomiser spray and needs only to be applied lightly).
