Description

This supplier provides work for women living in poverty in remote areas of Peru. Sales of these products allows the women to support their families and pay for food, education, medicines and other basic necessities.

The coasters are made from wood which is painted and then 'sealed' with glass, but are still very robust! They are made by a group located in northern Lima where the shanty towns sprawl and unemployment is high.
