Description

Shea butter is widely used to moisturise, protect and regenerate the skin. Ours is handmade in Burkina Faso by a women's co-operative. The butter is extracted manually in a traditional way from the Shea nut of the Shea tree, and the resulting extract containing phytosterols and vitamins is exceptionally rich and pure.

The products are sourced from self-sufficient, small-scale ventures in Africa and the Middle East that are harmonious with the country's natural environment and its local population, drawing wherever possible on traditional skills and activities, and utilising only the very finest, sustainably harvested natural ingredients.

The resulting products are imbued with the harmony, balance, love and care that is shown to the ecosystems they are derived from and the people who have made them. By purchasing these products with an open heart, you become part of this process.
