Description
Cushion cover made from lovely vintage grain sack with stripes and original hand embrodiered monogram. Beautifully hand made and finished (the second picture shows an example of the finishing). Back fastened with wooden buttons.
Vintage grain sacks make perfect cushion covers, they are simple yet stunning. The special home loomed quality of the cloth makes these cushions a fabulous addition to any room. The strength and durability of the fabric makes them strong enough to be used as floor cushions. The cloth has a wonderful texture and dates from between 1900- 1940. It is original, eco- friendly, tough and functional. To fit filler 45 x 45cm.
