This is a wonderful book which has been divided into five chapters. The first is entitled "Getting Started" which guides you through all you would need to know about choosing the right container, how to plant it, growing plants from seed, together with the general care such as watering, mulching and feeding, together with how to deal with pests and diseases.

The following chapters are called "Starters", "Main Courses", "Desserts" and "What to Grow". Each section shows you different ideas on how to plant up a container or pot to enable you to grow ingredients for say a Main Course meal. For example one is called a "Pasta and Pizza Pot", which contains all the ingredients to make a sauce for the pasta and pizza such as oregano, marjoram, golden marjoram, gold tipped marjoram and cut leaf rocket. There are several ideas for each course.

The final chapter takes you through anything else that you would wish to grow such as runner beans, leeks, peas, pumpkins and several more. Each project is accompanied by very clear and concise photographs, together with step-by-step instructions on how to get the best from your produce.
